Pop up series! Reclaiming Aliveness: Embodying The Work that Reconnects

This world needs our aliveness —an invitation to reconnect with our vitality in overwhelming times.

Through Joanna Macy’s The Work That Reconnects and embodied practice, in these workshops we make space for sorrow, sound, movement, and imagination as pathways back to aliveness. Offered online and in person, these workshops are designed to support presence, connection, and a deeper capacity to stay in relationship with life.

Dancing the Great Turning: Reclaiming aliveness through 5Rhythms® & The Work That Reconnects

Thursday, June 11 | 12:30–3:00 PM | Online

$35/$25/$15

Rooted in Joanna Macy’s Work That Reconnects and the moving meditation practice of 5Rhythms®, this gathering creates space to turn toward what is true, not alone, but together. Through dance, reflection, and shared practice, we will make space for sorrow as part of love for the world—and open pathways for vitality to return. Co-facilitated with Jenny Fahy, we bring together the 5Rhythms of Flowing, Staccato, Chaos, Lyrical, and Stillness and the spiral of the Work That Reconnects: grounding in gratitude, honoring our heartache for the world, opening to new ways of seeing, and listening for what is ours to do. Through movement, embodied listening, and collective inquiry, we’ll explore the body as a pathway back—a way to soften numbness, release frozen energy, and reconnect with life force. Together, we’ll practice moving from disconnection toward belonging, from overwhelm toward presence, and from exhaustion toward the deeper pulse of aliveness that helps us stay in relationship with the world.
